In the last update, whatsapp rolled out a feather of a story and depreciated "status" feature. In this new story feature, the user can add multiple images, gifs, video and much more. This was similar to snap chat but after the update, the user experience of using such feature is quite bad. People did not like this feature much and they miss WhatsApp status feature. The new story feature was for 24 hours. Whatever you will update will be deleted after 24hours, but in the feature, their was an awesome thing that you can view who saw your status. Through this feature, many users came to know that "he/she" still view their status and even have a number.

Now WhatsApp Status is back which was same as earlier. Now users can enjoy new as well as the old way of using WhatsApp. As WhatsApp is the most popular mobile messenger and user do not want that it should be complicated. Its still the best messenger because of the way it is.

As user previously update their status not just to show something but to give an indirect message, can have some fun again.

How to Change Status in WhatsApp?


Click on the three dots located on the right top corner. Then open settings and click on your name. When you click on the name you can see the at the top you have your "Display Picture" also known as DP. Below that your name which is editable and below that you can see your text-based status and on clicking it you can change it.
